    THE GALLERY

    Galleria Granelli is a modern and contemporary art gallery in Castiglioncello – Livorno .

    From the earliest times, the gallery takes on a pop-art trend; thus began to host exhibitions of the artist Tano Festa which will make the Gallery nationally famous.

    Beyond Italian pop art, the gallery begins to follow new artistic currents such as: Kinetic and Programmed Art, Poor Art, Fluxus, and Visual Poetry.

    The Granelli Gallery hosts many artists including: Mario Schifano, Pino Pascali, Franco Angeli, Alighiero Boetti, Bruno Munari, Horacio Garcia Rossi, Renato Mambor, Valerio Adami…and others.

    The interest of the Gallery also moves towards important artists, founders of historical movements, but only recently re-evaluated by the market and presented in large public and private exhibitions. This was the case of Lamberto Pignotti, progenitor of the movement known as “Visual Poetry”.

    The most popular artistic currents are: Italian Pop Art, Kinetic and Programmed Art, Poor Art, Fluxus, Visual Poetry
    Among the artists in the gallery: Tano Festa, Mario Schifano, Pino Pascali, Franco Angeli, Alighiero Boetti, Bruno Munari, Horacio Garcia Rossi.

    Significant recent exhibitions dedicated to Italian pop art “Angeli Festa Schifano 60s 70s”, solo shows dedicated to Pino Pascali and the retrospective dedicated to Bruno Munari.

    1970

    The history of the Granelli Gallery began in 1970 when the spouses Antonio Ricci and Graziella Granelli began their activity in the field of art.

    1992

    In 1992 the gallery was officially born and immediately took on a Pop art trend: over the years the anthologies of Valerio Adami, Renato Mambor, Mario Schifano, Tano Festa, Pino Pascali followed. Numerous works by national and international contemporary artists have passed through the gallery over the years. Granelli Gallery has also taken care of the graphic editions of some artists treated.

    Significant participation of the gallery at the most important Italian fairs.

    2004

    Silvia Ricci, who has been working alongside her parents for years, since 2004 it has moved to the artistic direction of the gallery and can now count on their collaboration and experience by expanding this historic passion with young projects.
